1. Purpose

This policy explains:

  • When course bookings may be cancelled or changed
  • When refunds or transfers may be issued
  • How requests must be submitted

2. How to Request a Cancellation or Change

All cancellation or change requests must be submitted in writing or by email.

Requests must come from:

  • The individual who made the original booking; or
  • A clearly identifiable person from the same organisation with authority to act.

The date and time we receive the written request determines eligibility for any refund or transfer.

3. General Refund Principles

  • Percentage refunds are calculated on the total fee paid.
  • At our sole discretion, we may consider refunds or deferrals outside this policy in cases of serious illness, bereavement, or other exceptional circumstances, subject to supporting evidence.
  • All notice periods are calculated from the course start date and start time.

4. Refunds, Transfers & Notice Periods

Notice Period Before Course Start Refund / Entitlement
30 days or more before the first day of the course 100% refund
14 days or more (up to 1:00 pm on the 14th day before course start) 80% refund or transfer to an alternative date at no additional charge
Less than 14 days before the course start date No refund or transfer to an alternative date subject to a 20% course fee

5. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds are normally processed within a few days.
In some cases, it may take up to 7 days for funds to appear in the client’s account, depending on the payment provider.

6. Provider Cancellations or Significant Changes

If we cancel a course or make a significant change to the course content, dates, or location, learners may choose:

  • A full refund; or
  • Transfer to an alternative course date at no additional charge.

We are not liable for any additional costs incurred, including travel, accommodation, or loss of earnings.

7. Requests to Change Booking Dates

Requests to move or change a booking are subject to availability and must follow the written notification process outlined in Section 2.

8. Statutory Consumer Rights (United Kingdom)

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Courses are scheduled services delivered on specific dates and times. In accordance with Regulation 28(1)(h) of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the 14-day cooling-off period does not apply.

Once a booking is confirmed, cancellations and refunds are governed by this policy.

Where a course is cancelled by us, or not delivered with reasonable care and skill, learners will be entitled to appropriate remedies under UK consumer law.
