What we offer for the community:
The venue is operating 7 days a week, open to the public with free parking on site with EV charging. We offer a 25m 5 lane Main Pool and a smaller Learner Pool. The current usage figures show 700+ learners enrolled in the Swim School and 2000+ patrons visiting and supporting the charity each week. The local schools in the area also have access to hire the venues services delivering swimming lessons that fit the needs of the curriculum. We also work with sports clubs, charities and small business further extending the charities outreach in the community.

Project description:
Children and Adults with disabilities currently have use of some very outdated facilities at Oaklands Community Pool. We have a lot of essential services such as a accessible changing room, manual hoist and ambulant toilet/ shower. However, the current offering of accessible services is now in need of updating. We are working on raising funds to renew and upgrade the accessible changing facilities on site.
With running costs for the venue exceeding £500’000.00 per year, projects can take some time to get off the ground. If you can donate to our funding pages or support is any way it would be hugely beneficial in getting the facilities updated in good time.
